MyBasket

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Plus One Point Pty Ltd ("we") handles information in the app "MyBasket – Scan Shopping List" (the "App").

1. Where your list is stored

Your list, your saved items, categories, notes and the dates you bought things are stored only on your device. We do not send them to our servers.

2. Information we collect

The App does not require an account. We do not collect personal information, device identifiers, location or usage data. The App contains no advertising and no analytics tools.

3. Camera

The camera is used only to read barcodes while the scanner is open. Camera images are not saved or sent anywhere. On Android, barcodes are read on the device with Google ML Kit, which may send Google anonymous diagnostic and performance data.

4. Product lookups (Open Food Facts)

When you scan a product for the first time, the App sends its barcode number to Open Food Facts and its sister databases (Open Beauty Facts, Open Products Facts and Open Pet Food Facts) to get the product name, image and category. Only the barcode number is sent. Product images are loaded from Open Food Facts when you view them. These services are run by Open Food Facts, a non-profit organisation, under their own privacy policy.

5. Exports (CSV)

CSV files created with "Export CSV" go only to the people or apps you choose in your device's share sheet.

6. Deleting your data

You can delete items in the App. Deleting the App from your device deletes everything. We hold no copy, so we cannot restore deleted data.

7. Children

The App is not directed at children.

8. Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page.
